Recruitment for the 9^th PBL competition is open

Recruitment for the 9^th competition for financing project-oriented education - PBL (Project-Based Learning) is open, as part of the Excellence Initiative - Research University program. Applications can be submitted until January 20^th, 2023.

The projects will be implemented in the summer semester of the academic year 2022/2023.

The competition is organized as part of the project "Involving students in scientific research through scientific clubs and project-oriented teaching", in connection with the participation of the Silesian University of Technology in the Excellence Initiative - Research University program.

Applications should be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address of the Study Service Centre - rd1@polsl.pl . They can be submitted until January 20^th, 2023.

The further procedure for handling applications will take place via the Remote Education Platform, where an appropriate category of resources has been separated for handling the competition.

PBL projects should be interdisciplinary, and each project group should include students representing at least two fields of study, diploma paths or specialties. Students from Academic High Schools for which the Silesian University of Technology is the governing body, as well as students from schools that have concluded a cooperation agreement with the Silesian University of Technology may be involved in the implementation of the project.

Projects with the involvement of foreign universities, implemented on the basis of a bilateral agreement, will be particularly promoted. The International Relations Department will provide support to interested applicants in searching for a foreign partner under the concluded agreements, in particular in connection with the participation of the Silesian University of Technology in the European University Initiative programme.
