Free trainings within BiOMeDiG project

We invite you to participate in the project “Development of the potential of Silesian biomedical engineering in the face of the challenges of digital and green economy” (BioMeDiG), implemented under the European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 (Just Transition Fund).  As part of the program, a series of free trainings aimed at strengthening professional competences and supporting research and implementation projects implemented at our University is organized.

The trainings are dedicated to employees, PhD students, and students of the Silesian University of Technology.

  1. Managing a team of diverse generations- two-day, free training (25-26.03)

The training covers key dimensions of team management, including motivation, development, communication, expectations toward the supervisor and the place of work, career concept, methods of knowledge transfer.

  • It’s a great investment in your future: Being able to work together across generations is crucial in any work environment today.

  1. Delegation of tasks, monitoring, and evaluation of work results in the research process - two-day, free training (30-31.03)

Scope of training: How to effectively prepare to delegate? How to delegate in the smart way? Why is it worth delegating? the art of delegating – six steps to effective delegating; motivational communication during delegation process. 7 levels of effective delegation; Communication checklist in the area of delegation; Accounting for delegation results and evaluation of results. The implementation of the training will increase the effectiveness of your and your team in the implementation of tasks.

Why is it worth it?

- Take part in a training that will show you how to effectively delegate tasks in research projects - an area where mistakes can be extremely expensive and delay achievement of results.

- It is an ideal proposition for people managing scientific projects, but also for those who are just starting their adventure with research and want to avoid typical organizational traps.

- You will learn how to clearly formulate expectations, share tasks according to competences and build responsibility in a research team.

- With practical tasks, you will learn how to monitor progress without unnecessary micro‑control and how to assess the effects of work in an objective and supportive way of project development.
