The implementation of the projects will contribute to the acquisition of new competences among students, doctoral students, and academic staff of the university, as well as pupils of secondary schools and employees of enterprises in subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship undergoing the transformation process.
This amount will be allocated to support career offices at universities, activities for the development of scientific staff including doctorates (including implementation) and doctoral schools, in particular in the fields of green and digital economy, support for knowledge and technology transfer, increase the attractiveness of universities and support for secondary school pupils by universities.
As part of the competition, the beneficiaries submitted 51 applications, of which 25 met the criteria for project selection and obtained the required number of points and received funding by the decision of the management board of the Silesian Voivodeship. Silesian University of Technology will implement as many as 8 projects and thus is the leader among Silesian universities in terms of the number of projects and their total value (PLN 44 640 336.43).
