Competition for the best doctoral thesis defended at member universities of the Progres 3 Consortium

We invite you to participate in the 12^th competition for the best doctoral thesis defended at member universities of the Progres 3 Consortium (from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia). The competition is organized by VSB Ostrava and is international. In the current edition of the Competition doctoral theses defended in the calendar year 2025, i.e. from the 1^{st of} January to 31^st December 2025, may participate. 

Each of the member universities of the Progress 3 Consortium may submit to the competition a maximum of 3 works in each of the following thematic categories:

1. Economics, Finance and Management
2. Raw Materials, Energy, and the Environment
3. Health and Applications in Healthcare,
4. Information Technology and Electrical Engineering,
5. Competitive Engineering and Materials Research.

Selected works from all universities will be evaluated by the Board established within the framework of the Progres 3 Consortium, chaired by VŠB Ostrava.

Persons interested in participating in the competition should send the application to the International Relations Office by the deadline of 16^th  February 2026 (inclusive)  together with the required documents in electronic form to the address DWZ@polsl.pl.
