Gliwice Scientific Meetings
On November 16-17, 2023, the 27th edition of the Gliwice Scientific Meetings 2023 conference will take place. The event will take place at the Education and Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology.
The conference has been organized since 1997 and has already gained well-established recognition not only of Polish but also foreign scientists. Currently, the organizers are three entities:
Association for the Support of Cancer Research (SWBR)
Gliwice Branch of the National Institute of Oncology named after Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Gliwice.
Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice
The conference will focus on cancer research using methods of molecular and cell biology, biotechnology, biochemistry and bioinformatics. This year, four scientific sessions with the participation of well-known Polish and foreign scientists are planned, as well as a session dedicated to the commemoration of Professor Mieczysław Chorąży (1925-2021).
As part of the event, a competition for young researchers for a scholarship of prof. Mieczysław Chorąży will also be held.
