Brief description |
Piotr Kwiatkowski, born in 1992 in Siemianowice Śląskie, is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He obtained his diploma in 2018 in the painting studio of Prof. Z. Blukacz, and an annex in intaglio printing in the studio of Prof. J. Szmatloch. On a daily basis, he works in the visual arts—mainly painting and drawing inspired by Christian philosophy and history. The series “Tree–Point,” “Exodos–Eisodos,” and ‘Logos’ are a hermeneutic contemplation of biblical content, interpreted in a way that gives them a more universal character. The “Anamnesis” series, on the other hand, focuses on discovering the history of the family. The artist also creates Krakow nativity scenes and is a member of the “Ściana Malowana” (Painted Wall) collective, which paints murals. In addition, he is an organist at the Church of the Holy Cross in Siemianowice Śląskie and a music therapist at the Occupational Therapy Workshop. |
