Do you want to test your scientific communication skills? Or maybe you just want to share the topic of your PhD thesis with a wider audience? Apply for the Silesian edition of the three Minute Thesis® competition.

Three Minute Thesis® is a competition in the field of scientific communication, addressed to doctoral students of universities and branches of the Polish Academy of Sciences from the Silesian Voivodeship and people carrying out doctoral theses at the National Institute of Oncology named after M. Skłodowska-Curie in Gliwice.

The task of the participants is to present a 3-minute presentation on the activities carried out under the doctorate and its importance to society. Scientific issues must be presented in such a way that they are understandable and accessible to a wide and diverse audience.

Stages of the Silesian edition of the Three Minute Thesis® competition are as follows:

REGISTRATION: until 31 October 2024

ELIMINATIONS: 16 November 2024, 10:00 a.m.

FINAL: 29 November 2024, 18:00 a.m.

The event is a unique opportunity to test competences in the field of dissemination of knowledge and self-presentation, share interesting scientific ideas with others, and win attractive prizes.
