Plans and Directions for Development: Meeting of WOIZ Staff with the New Faculty Leadership

A meeting of the community of the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology took place on October 4th, at the invitation of the Dean, Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior. The Dean presented the faculty’s development directions and plans for the near future. The event was also an opportunity to present awards from the Rector to outstanding researchers.

  • "The strength of our Faculty lies in its people: students, academic teachers, and administrative staff, and our primary goal is to provide the best possible conditions for studying and working. Therefore, we aim to foster a positive atmosphere, enhance cooperation among all staff and students, maintain good relations with the socio-economic environment, and conduct education and scientific research at the highest level," emphasized Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior.

Starting the new academic year, the Dean reminded that the Faculty has nearly 2,500 students across seven study programs in Polish and three in English. She highlighted the impressive results of this year's recruitment – 954 newly admitted students. The Faculty employs 14 administrative staff and 162 academic teachers, while interdisciplinary teams conduct scientific research in priority research areas of the Silesian University of Technology.

"Our goal is to support employees in developing their professional careers, conducting scientific research, and continuously improving and upgrading their qualifications," said Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior, presenting the list of Faculty staff who are part of the prestigious TOP 2% of the most influential scientists in the world.
