Scientific activities
In area of my main scientific interests are issues related to hard magnetic materials based on rare earth elements, corrosion tests, protective coatings applied to tool materials and porous ceramic skeletons. In the field of magnetic materials, I had a thesis grant: “Composite materials with a polymer matrix reinforced with hard magnetic Nd-Fe-B particles with a surface resistant to corrosion in the operating conditions of electrical devices” and I participated in other research projects.
As a doctoral student (since 1999) and then a research and teaching worker at the Silesian University of Technology (since 2004), I participated in many research internships, including: research internship under the Erasmus Socrates program – four-month internship in 2001, 2008, 2010 University of Patras (Greece) 2006 – Dublin University (Ireland). I was also a participant of numerous conferences and trainings on a global, international and national scale.
