New team member: dr Monisha Sugumar
Our Group has gained a new member!
Dr. S. Monisha is a Ulam Nawa Scholarship holder, and her project is ""3D Structured Biomass Derived Electrochemical Immunosensor Using Heteroatom Based Redox Mediator for Early Stage Ovarian Cancer Diagnosis". She completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Vellore Institute of Technology, India, focusing on graphitic carbon nanomaterials for electrocatalytic and bioelectrocatalytic applications. Her research interests lie in addressing critical challenges in electrochemical sensing, particularly in enhancing selectivity and sensitivity of electrochemical immunosensors through the design of eco-friendly modified electrodes. She has strong expertise in nanomaterial-based electrode fabrication, surface functionalization, and advanced electroanalytical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, and scanning electrochemical microscopy.
