Accomodation
Silesian University of Technology has its own dormitories which are managed by the university’s administration. There are 13 dormitories at the Silesian University of Technology (11 in Gliwice, 1 in Zabrze and 1 in Katowice). The dorms may differ from one another in standard but in each dormitory students can find TV room, gym and ping pong tables. The Internet is available for all habitants. In the neighbourhood of dormitories there are playgrounds, sports halls, tennis courts and ice skating rink.
In Gliwice, all the buildings where classes are held, dormitories, seats of student organizations, student clubs and a well-equipped sports base are located in the academic district. You can also find there a health center and a large canteen.
