Support to start up research activities in a new research subject
A pro-quality competition for grants that support starting scientific activity in a new research topic, unrelated to the topic of the master's thesis and PhD dissertation, and not financed from external sources.
The competition is addressed to young scientists within the meaning of the Act - Law on Higher Education and Science, including PhD students of the Silesian University of Technology.
The research activity submitted for the competition should fall within the priority research areas of the Silesian University of Technology specified in the Regulation No. 66/2019 of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology of June 24, 2019.
The competition takes place twice a year, on the basis of applications submitted to the Research Office, until March 31 and September 30.
