Candidate – How to apply?
Before submitting your application, read carefully the list of required documents you will need to enclose and remember that only candidates who have submitted a complete set of documents will be admitted to the entrance examination
- A personal questionnaire containing the candidate's photograph, full name, date and place of birth, PESEL number, and if there is no PESEL number, the name and number of the identity document and the name of the issuing country, gender, residential address and correspondence address, e-mail address, contact telephone number, citizenship, and in case of foreigners also the name of the country of birth and information about the possession of the Card of the Pole (questionnaire filled in via the recruitment system).
- A recent photograph, conforming to the requirements for issuing identity cards.
- Copy of graduation diploma with supplement.
- Documents confirming the knowledge of English language at least at B2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (optional)*.
- Preliminary concept of the doctoral dissertation, according to the specimen.
- Motivation letter outlining the candidate's motivation for undertaking training at the doctoral school, including the candidate's expected thematic area of the dissertation.
- A statement of the supervisor chosen by the candidate to undertake scientific supervising for the preparation of PhD thesis (signed and given by the supervisor).
- Documents confirming the candidate's scientific achievements - scientific publications, presenting a scientific paper at a scientific conference, participation in research projects, activity in scientific circles and organisations, obtained patents and patent applications, obtained awards and distinctions, obtained the minister's scholarship for outstanding achievements.
- A statement of lack of contraindications to undertaking education that involves harmful factors, according to the specimen.
- Statement of the candidate's status at another doctoral school, according to the specimen.
*If the diploma submitted does not prove knowledge of English at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the candidate may additionally submit
- a copy of another university diploma attesting knowledge of English at this level, or
- a copy of a certificate attesting English language proficiency at that level.
In the absence of these documents, knowledge of English will be assessed through an interview conducted in that language.
