Studies Introduction
Especially for creative people who want to deeply understand the nature of the surrounding world, but also for those who are interested in finding a fast job in the industry of advanced computer-aided technologies and robotics solutions, we offer a full-time, first degree, seven-semester course in Technical Physics. The studies have a practical profile, which is co-developed with industry representatives. The Technical Physics major is taught at the Institute of Physics, Science and Didactics Centre, located in the building of the New Technologies Centre at 22B Stanisława Konarskiego Street in Gliwice.
As the main career path, we focus on preparing people to work in the field of advanced technologies related to vacuum technology, robotics and automation as well as design and analysis of space missions (Mission Analysis, Attitude and Orbit Control Systems, Spacecraft Design, System Engineering for Aerospace).
The qualification for the Technical Physics major takes into account 60% of the final course result in basic mathematics (W1 grade) and 40% of the final course result in one subject on an extended level: mathematics, physics with astronomy, chemistry, biology or computer science (W2 grade):
P=0.4*W1+0.6*W2
