Lecture by Prof Leif Rune Hellevik of NTNU Trondheim, Norway
On May 13th, 2025, at 10.00 am in room C109 (Konarskiego 22, Building C, Department of Thermal Technology of SUT), Prof. Leif Rune Hellevik of NTNU Trondheim, Norway, will give an invited lecture on Perspectives on Cardiovascular Models for Clinical Applications. We invite you to this event, which will last no more than one hour.
Prof Hellevik is a prominent expert in cardiovascular blood flow modelling. His team participated in the ENTHRAL project consortium, which carried out a NorwayGrants project on the determination of arterial wall stiffness.
The smooth functioning of the cardiovascular system concerns each of us. In this lecture, we will learn, among other things, how to use fluid mechanics methods to predict the function of this system in a way that is useful for clinical medicine.
