Nagroda Siemensa dla Zespołu z KTC
We are pleased to announce that the team consisting of Dr. Damian Kurzydym, Prof. Zbigniew Żmudka, and Prof. Adam Klimanek, won second place and a prize of PLN 15,000 in the competition for the Siemens Prize and the Warsaw University of Technology. The competition was resolved on March 31, 2023.
The award was given for a project carried out in cooperation between Tenneco Automotive Eastern Europe and the Silesian University of Technology. The project was entitled "Experimental and numerical studies of selective catalytic reduction for compression-ignition engine cars". This project was related to the doctoral thesis performed and defended by Dr. Damian Kurzydym, the results of which have already been implemented in industry.
