Dr. Cezary Zbigniew Kolasa dies
We regret to inform you that on August 26, 2020, Dr. Cezary Kolasa, a retired employee of the Faculty of Environmental and Power Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, a cordial friend and collaborator, has died.
Dr. Cezary Kolasa worked at the Department of Heating, Ventilation and Dust Removal Technology from 1969 to 2011. In 1991-94 he was the Head of the Heating and District Heating Team. The topics of his interests were issues in the field of heating and heat engineering, especially the issues of division and settlement of individual heating costs in multi-family buildings, in which he was a valued specialist and practitioner. He was the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles, papers and scientific and research works, and the supervisor of many master and engineering theses.
We bid farewell to Cezary Kolasa to a cheerful and kind man, always willing to help, tutor of many years of graduates of the Heating and Ventilation specialty. It will remain in our memory forever.
Funeral ceremonies will take place on September 4 at 10:20 am at the Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow.
