World Ventil8 Day - 8th November
World Ventil8 Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of ventilation as a crucial part of enabling health and wellbeing of people. It also seeks to recognise and celebrate the ventilation and indoor air quality community. We want you to be part of it, whether you are a ventilation professional or someone with a passion for fresh air in your building.
The inaugural 2022 World Ventilation Day theme is all about Celebrating Ventilation #CelebrateVentil8. The organizers want to shout about everything that is great about ventilation. How we can help people to improve ventilation in their buildings whether it be a home, a school, a workplace or a social space. Plus, highlight ventilation's role in healthy buildings and healthy life.
#WorldVentil8Day has been initiated by a group of researchers and professional bodies passionate about the importance of ventilation. The group includes CIBSE, REHVA, ISIAQ, ASHRAE, AIVC and many more.
We invite you to attend one of the #WorldVentil8Day events or download some of free guides and resources. Organizers share key reports, standards or studies that inform ventilation.
As one of the World Ventilation Day events, the Tackling Air Pollution At School Network (TAPAS) are hosting a ventilation seminar on Thursday 10 Nov at 2 PM. During the seminar prof. Jørn Toftum (DTU, Denmark) will talk on the ‘Indoor environment in Danish classrooms and its association with pupil wellbeing and performance'. You can participate in it online.
