Student Circle of Thermal Technology (SKNTC) invites you to a meeting!
This semester we are starting with a meeting with the staff of the Department of Thermal Technology. The meeting will take place on Thursday 20 October at 3 p.m. in room C-109. At the meeting, the staff of the Department will present their scientific profile and talk about the scientific projects (engineering projects, master's theses, PBLs, etc.) that you can carry out under their guidance.
Another highlight will be an excursion planned for 28-29 November to the Porąbka Żar Peak-and-Pump Power Plant and Combined Heat and Power Plant in Bielsko-Biała with an overnight stay in Szczyrk. Registration for the excursion will open at the above-mentioned meeting with the staff. Participation in the excursion is free of charge, but the number of places is limited.
The culmination of the Circle's activities this academic year will be a several-day scientific symposium in Szczyrk, where you can present the results of your scientific work and meet future employers. This will take place in May or June.
In the meantime, the Circle plans to organise other activities, such as meetings with industry representatives or training courses (Ansys, Matlab and others).
