2nd Scientific and Technical Conference "Air conditioning of hospital facilities"

We would like to kindly inform you about the upcoming second edition of the Scientific and Technical Conference "Air conditioning of hospital facilities" organized by the Faculty of Building Installations, Hydrotechnics and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Main Section of Heating, Ventilation and Atmospheric Engineering of the Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians.

The conference will be held on March 25, 2022 online. The honorary patronage over the event was taken by the Ministry of Health, the Supreme Medical Chamber and the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers.

Topics of individual speeches:

  • Pathogens of healthcare-associated infections and the methods of their spread - Paulina Kołat-Brodecka (University Teaching Hospital of the Military Medical Academy),
  • Design and reality. Does meeting the design requirements ensure safety and comfort in the operating theater? - Igor Madej (Lower Silesian Cancer Center),
  • Thermal comfort in hospitals - review of the state of knowledge - Anna Bogdan (Warsaw University of Technology, Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians),

    Air purification techniques for ventilation and air conditioning in hospital facilities - Amelia Staszowska (Lublin University of Technology).
