CLIMATE-CON 2021 – Silesian Climate Convention
On November 22 and 23 2021, The Silesian Stadium in Chorzów will become an arena for discussions and debates on air, environmental, and climate protection during a hybrid (stationary + online broadcast) event entitled "CLIMATE-CON 2021 - Silesian Climate Convention".
The main goal of the event is to educate and raise awareness in the field of air quality improvement - both in local governments and in society. During the two-day event planned:
- 15 thematic sessions (discussions, presentations of papers on air and the impact of pollution on health),
- 3 workshops (workshops for local governments, workshops for students),
- 2 screenings of ecological films,
- accompanying events: small talks session, concert.
The event is carried out as part of the integrated LIFE project "Implementation of the Air Protection Program for the Małopolskie Voivodeship - Małopolska in a Healthy Atmosphere" (LIFE-IP MALOPOLSKA / LIFE14 IPE PL 021), co-financed by the LIFE financial instrument under the European Union funds and the National Fund for Protection Environment and Water Management.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
