Scientific internships of Dr. Bulińska and Dr. Lipczyńska as part of the "Synergy" program
As part of the "Synergy" program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, dr. Anna Bulińska and dr. Aleksandra Lipczyńska completed 2- and 6-week research internships at the Danish Technical University (DTU).
As part of their research work, they joined the International Center for Indoor Environment and Energy in a team led by prof. Arsena Melikova.
DTU is recognized worldwide as a leading university in engineering and natural sciences, known for its high level of international research and sought-after graduates. By working with numerous foreign entities, employees and students go out into the world and work in a variety of disciplines, developing technologies that work in a globalized world, transcending social and cultural differences.
The international dimension is essential for DTU. In 2019, over 700 students from abroad were studying for their Master's degree. Half of the doctoral students are recruited from abroad, and more than one-third of the research staff are highly qualified researchers of international origin. Moreover, the scope and intensity of DTU's cooperation with other leading technical universities around the world is constantly growing. In addition, DTU runs international educational exchange programs with over 100 strong partner universities around the world and enjoys close research collaboration with its partners, as well as creating research and education programs.
In addition to the scientific values, the internship was an opportunity to establish new and strengthen current acquaintances with DTU scientists. It was also a chance to meet old friends from Singapore 🙂
