Agata Świerc receives DoktoRIS scholarship
In June 2014, Agata Świerc, a PhD student at KOWiTO, received the DoktoRIS scholarship funded by the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship and the European Union under the European Social Fund.

"DoktoRIS - Scholarship program for innovative Silesia" is a system project implemented by the Self-Government of the Silesian Voivodeship (Department of the European Social Fund of the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship) in partnership with the University of Silesia in Katowice under the European Union Human Capital Operational Program.
The program is addressed to PhD students studying in the fields of science and scientific disciplines and preparing a doctoral thesis on the scope and subject in accordance with the key technological areas indicated in the Program for Technology Development of the Silesian Voivodeship for 2010-2020 (PRT), i.e. recognized as particularly important from the point of view of the development of the Śląskie Voivodeship. The scholarship support is aimed at accelerating the progress and increasing the quality of the research work of doctoral and PhD students.
