Although the event took place in June, we are pleased to revisit some of the initiatives carried out by our students during the past semester. One of them was the presentation of the MyBHP+ mobile application during a study visit to Autoneum Poland Sp. z o.o.

On 12 June 2026, sixth-semester students of the Safety Engineering programme participated in an off-campus class held at Autoneum Poland Sp. z o.o. as part of the Project Based Learning (PBL) course. During the visit, the students presented the MyBHP+ application, developed under the supervision of Adam Duda. The Android-based application is designed to support occupational health and safety (OHS) services, supervisory authorities, and inspection bodies. It enables users to record identified hazards, take photographs, generate reports, and issue instructions to employees, while also indicating which OHS regulations have been violated.

As part of the visit, the students met with the company’s OHS specialists, learned about the safety solutions implemented at the plant, and toured the production facilities. The programme also included familiarisation with working conditions, production technologies, and safety devices, as well as practical testing of the MyBHP+ application in a real industrial environment.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the OHS staff of Autoneum Poland, particularly Ryszard Dulok, OHS and OSH Manager, and Iwona Tomala, OHS Specialist, for sharing their knowledge and providing guidance during the visit. Initiatives of this kind perfectly reflect the practical nature of the Safety Engineering programme, enabling students to present their own solutions and confront the knowledge gained at the university with the requirements of a real working environment.
