You are welcome to attend the course!!! SUT Internet of Things course

The internet of things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. These devices range from ordinary household objects to sophisticated industrial tools. IoT has very wide range of applications, from home automation, to healthcare, industry, and even military.
The objective of the course is to introduce participants with general IoT approach, devices, structures, programming and common applications. Participants will be guided through various areas of IoT, starting from device construction and sensor selection for real world sensing and measurements, through interconnecting devices to constitute network and finally towards data processing with means of modern approaches including semantic data and natural language processing.
The course will be available remotely for registered users in the form of recorded lectures. Link to registration: https://forms.office.com/e/N63RrmxMZ9 The course consists of 11  lectures (17 teaching hours in total) and will be available until the end of June. Detailed information about the course will be sent to registered participants. It is given by experienced lecturers from Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, Silesian University of Technology, Poland. The course will be given in English.
