Diploma procedure on first and second cycle study
Handling of diploma theses is carried out in the APD system (Archive of Diploma Theses), in accordance with the instructions for students, posted on the website of the Studies Service Center - Diploma Section.
To the secretary room of the department of specialization should be submitted:
1. Application for appointment of an examination board to conduct an engineering examination
The application will be generated in to the APD system, subpage "information about the thesis", after approval of the thesis by the supervisor
Note: Students do not submit thesis in a printed version. The submission of the thesis takes place by uploading it to the APD system.
2. Completed consultation card
To the Student Service Office (Dean’s Office) at least 7 days before the scheduled date of the engineering exam should be submitted :
Information about the special achievements of the student included in the supplement - must be properly confirmed: certificate, confirmation of the supervisor of the research club, certificate of active participation in conferences, etc.
Additionally
Student should submit a certificate from the library confirming the return of all borrowed materials from the main library of SUT and the specialized libraries. In case of exceeding the time of returning materials to the above mentioned libraries, student should also submit the confirmation of payment for unreturned on time materials.
The certificate is issued by the library upon the student's written request sent by e-mail to bg.wypozycz@polsl.pl
Reception
Receipt of diplomas takes place at the Diploma Section of the Studies Service Center, Rector's Office - 1st floor, room 291, Akademicka 2A str., 44-100 Gliwice (entry via the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation). The collection of diplomas will be possible after prior arrangement by phone: 32 237 17 58 or 237 17 79 or by e-mail: RD1-dyplomy@polsl.pl. Upon receipt of the diploma, students will need a completed confirmation of receipt of the diploma (link below) and an ID card (for example: passport).
