Kolejne wyróżnienie dla High Flyers!
Zespół High Flyers został wyróżniony za projekt samolotu pionowego startu i lądowania HF-10 VTOL w konkursie StRuNa, czyli St-udencki Ru-ch Na-ukowy, w kategorii Projekt Roku. Finał konkursu odbył się 17 listopada w Warszawie podczas Kongresu Ikona 2018.
Konkurs składał się z dwóch etapów. W pierwszym z nich uczestniczy przesyłali formularze zgłoszeniowe i ewentualne załączniki do nich. W drugim etapie, który odbył się 17 listopada w Warszawie, uczestnicy prezentowali swój projekt na scenie bezpośrednio przed członkami jury, na które składali się wykładowcy akademiccy, członkowie organizacji pozarządowych, dziennikarze i byli członkowie kół naukowych.
Uroczysta gala wręczenia nagród w Konkursie StRuNa odbyła się 18 listopada podczas Interdyscyplinarnego Kongresu Akademickiego Ruchu Naukowego „IKONA 2 - Nowe Wyzwania".
Konkurs odbywał się w sześciu kategoriach: Projekt Roku 2018, Wyprawa Roku 2018, Konferencja Roku 2018, Koło Naukowe Roku 2018, Debiut Roku 2018 oraz Opiekun Naukowy Roku 2018. Jest częścią Programu StRuNa realizowanego pod patronatem Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego.
