Conference "Reliability and Maintenance of Movement in Production Plants" in Sieradz
On February 12th and 13th, events focused on maintenance and ensuring energy efficiency in industry took place in Sieradz, organized by Axon Media from Warsaw. Dr. Eng. Wojciech Jamrozik (Department of Fundamentals of Machinery Design, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) participated in both events as a moderator and expert. These types of events are dedicated, on the one hand, to fostering collaboration between entrepreneurs and engineers working in the industry and providers of services and solutions in the fields of reliability, machine performance efficiency, and energy consumption optimization. On the other hand, they provide an opportunity to explore new technologies available on the market and to discuss the challenges and issues encountered in everyday production practice.
Thanks to this, it was possible to present the potential and opportunities for cooperation between companies and the Silesian University of Technology within the competencies held, among others, by employees operating in Priority Research Area 5 (Process Automation and Industry 4.0). These meetings also served as an opportunity to establish cooperation with equipment and software suppliers, which can enhance the educational activities conducted for students across various fields of study.
