The event will take place on January 21, 2026, at 1:30 PM, in Room 508 of the New Technologies Center in Gliwice, with simultaneous online access via the Zoom platform.

Scope of the Meeting

Intralogistics systems based on AMR-class vehicles are becoming an integral component of modern manufacturing environments. The lecture will address issues related to the design, implementation, and operation of such solutions, as well as present examples of state-of-the-art equipment used in the Mobile Robotics Laboratory at the Silesian University of Technology.

The following topics will also be discussed:

  • key technologies enabling AMR systems,
  • methods for simulation and analysis of manufacturing environments,
  • approaches applied by AIUT and Aformic in the development and integration of intralogistics systems,
  • ongoing research and implementation projects conducted at the Silesian University of Technology.

 Speakers

Ph.D, Eng. Marek Drewniak

Head of the Research and Development Section in the Automation Department at AIUT, a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology. An expert in the integration of industrial automation and information technology, industrial automation control methods, and manufacturing process simulation.

Ph.D, Eng. Wojciech Klein

Faculty member of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Silesian University of Technology. A specialist in the design of intralogistics systems utilizing AGV/AMR mobile robots, and co-founder of a start-up developing robotic solutions for Industry 4.0 applications.
