Gait identification

Gait contains strong behavioral individual traits, which allow for efficient human identification. They are related to subsequent joints movements, their mutual coordination, response to disturbances as well as global body posture.  Human identification based on gait registered by a vision markerless motion capture system is primarily non-invasive. It means the recognition can be carried out without any awareness of humans. It requires only access to video data of the surveillance system. Moreover, it is resistant to the different clothing, appearance and carry-on baggage.
