Eye movement analysis

POB2 subarea: Time series

Eye movement analysis

Eye tracking analysis can be considered globally, at the level of the general behavior pattern of the oculomotor system, but also at the level of the individual, taking into account their individual characteristics. Acquiring knowledge about both patterns is of key importance at various stages of eye movement signal processing, which determine correct inference in many areas that use its analysis. Research work in this area includes improving the calibration process, detecting eye movement events, using eye movement to control a computer system, developing methods to support the diagnosis and therapy of children with visual and brain impairment, and developing methods for biometric identification.
