The meeting of the Polish Learning Systems Research Group (Polish-SigML)
There was a lot of interest in the meeting - 140 people representing various academic and research centers from all over the country signed up. Employees and former employees of our University also presented their papers.
Agata Wijata talked about methods of biopsy needle detection in ultrasound images, Paweł Kasprowski about applications of eye movement analysis in medicine and Krzysztof Kotowski (now KP Labs) about the challenges of anomaly detection in time series on the example of satellite missions of the European Space Agency.
The meeting was also attended by other representatives of the Silesian University of Technology: Prof. Jakub Nalepa, Prof. Marek Sikora, Dr. Michal Kozielski and students from the Student Scientific Group “Data Science”.
