On June 9, 2022 (Thursday) at 15:00 CET, we organize another research seminar of Priority Research Area 2 - Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing. The meeting is scheduled in remote mode. During the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to listen to a lecture delivered by Dr Adrian Kapczyński from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Silesian University of Technology, who will give a presentation entitled "The use of artificial intelligence in network protection". The meeting is scheduled to start at 15:00 CET.

The use of artificial intelligence in network protection
The potential of artificial intelligence is used in many areas, including the area of information security. During the lecture, the author will provide the current state of the use of artificial intelligence in the field of computer network protection, and more precisely in the implementation of the task of monitoring incoming and outgoing network traffic. Theoretical considerations will be completed with a practical aspect, which will be presented by the invited guest from the socio-economic environment of the Silesian University of Technology.
