Another success of scientists from the Silesian University of Technology
The National Science Centre announced the results of the OPUS 30 and SONATA 21 competitions. These were the largest editions of research project competitions in the history of the National Science Centre - over five hundred grants for basic research with a total value of almost PLN 912 million will be awarded to Polish research units.
The OPUS 30+LAP/Weave and SONATA 21 competitions received a record number of over 3,700 applications – nearly 15 percent more than the year before, and a record budget was allocated for their financing – the largest in the history of these competitions.
Funding will be provided to 522 projects (the number does not include LAP applications) across Poland.
