Young Science Beyond Borders – registration has begun!
The Academy of Young Scholars of the Polish Academy of Sciences invites young researchers to participate in the next edition of the International Conference Young Science Beyond Borders, which will take place this autumn – 23th and 24th of October 2025. It is a unique event created for young scientists from various fields and countries interested in interdisciplinary cooperation and international exchange of knowledge. Registration for the event has already begun.
The aim of the conference is to create a discussion forum for young and intermediate scientists up to 12 years after the PhD. Representatives from Poland participating in the event will have the chance to establish contacts with scientists from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The conference is dedicated in particular to scientists in difficulty, especially from countries affected by armed conflict (e.g. Ukraine).
The Polish Academy of Young Scholars is the main organizer of this event. The conference is scheduled as an online meeting.
YSBB (Young Science Beyond Borders 2025 aims to encourage students and young scientists to pursue a scientific career and consider Poland and the Polish scientific community as a partner in this process.
For the second time, the event will bring together young group leaders, postdoctoral students, PhD students and students who will have the opportunity to present themselves and their research interests. The event places a special emphasis on networking. It will also include a dedicated session for students and young researchers on career opportunities and funding for research and activity in Poland and the EU
During the conference they will have an opportunity to present the results of their research in several thematic tracks from environmental sciences, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and materials science to interdisciplinary research in biological, medical, physical, chemical and humanities.
In conclusion, the Young Science Beyond Borders conference is primarily:
· a space for establishing scientific contacts regardless of boundaries and disciplines,
· a chance to present one’s own research to an international audience,
· support in building a scientific career at an early stage of development,
