XXXI Olympiad in Information Technology
The district stage of the XXXI Olympiad in Information Technology will be held at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology. The competition will take place from 13th to 15th February 2024.
The Olympiad in Information Technology is a nationwide subject competition addressed to secondary school students. The Olympiad has three stages: school, district and final. – The tasks of this stage consist in designing and implementing an efficient algorithm solving a certain IT problem. The problems are interesting, original and require IT thinking. For many years, the Upper Silesian District Committee has been based at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology, which conducts the second stage of the competition - the district stage. This is the only district committee of the Olympics in the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis - said dr hab. Eng. Krzysztof Siminski, prof. SUT.
This year, twenty-four competitors will take part in the XXXI Olympiad in Information Technology at the Silesian University of Technology.
