XIII Silesian Scientific Meetings
From the 15th to the 17th of May 2026, the 10th Silesian Scientific Meetings will be held. The aim of the conference is to exchange information and establish scientific cooperation between teams conducting research in various fields of medical and environmental biotechnology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, systems biology, and biomaterial engineering.
During the event there will be presentations of research groups and young scientists. Workshops for people interested in laboratory diagnostics are also planned, co-organized by the Institute of Medical Sciences of the University of Opole. During the workshop session, there will be the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures on diagnostic methods of autoimmune diseases and applicable standards, as well as molecular biology techniques.
Silesian Scientific Meetings have been organized since 2014. These are interdisciplinary workshops for research teams of the Silesian region, operating in the broadly understood field of BIO sciences. The aim of the Meetings is to get to know the employees of Silesian science in person and to get to know the current scientific topics, methods, and equipment available to Silesian laboratories.
