Bartłomiej Knosala, PhD, will discuss the following issues during an online lecture on 10 May at 4 p.m. - Where do doubts about the reliability of scientific research come from, are they justified, and why is it worth trusting science after all? The Science Popularization Centre at SUT invites you to the meeting.
We live in a time when science is constantly facing a crisis of confidence. Issues such as the problem of the anthropogenic nature of climate change, the scientific status of the theory of evolution, or the questioning of the efficiency of vaccination, not only ignite social media but also find their way into the mainstream media, where they are not always presented according to the best scientific knowledge.
But where do these doubts about the reliability of scientific research come from? Are they justified? And why is it worth trusting science after all? These and other questions will be answered by Bartłomiej Knosala, PhD, from the Department of Applied Social Sciences of the Faculty of
Organization and Management.
