The Silesian University of Technology took patronage over a free webinar "The future of aluminium packaging recycling", which will take place on February 29th at 12.00.
The webinar is organized by the RECAL Foundation for the recovery of aluminium packaging. It is addressed to participants in the broadly understood aluminium packaging management chain.
The introductory speech during the webinar will be delivered by Anita Sowińska, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment. EU regulations will be presented by a representative of European Aluminium from Brussels. The RECAL Foundation will outline collection systems and principles of recycling aluminium packaging, and dr Eng. Wojciech Hryb from the Department of Technologies and Installations for Waste Management at the Silesian University of Technology will discuss the sorting of metal packaging.
The panel "Design for recycling" will feature representatives of the European Aluminium Foil Association industry, bringing together producers of aluminium foil and packaging manufactured with its use, the company Cedo producing, among others, foil and aluminium trays, Formika representing aluminium lids and Guala Closures DGS Poland, a manufacturer of aluminium caps.
