We already know the winners of the fourth edition of the Holiday Geofotka competition. The organizers received as many as 515 applications this year. Kinga Kovács won the best photography category.
This year’s edition took place as part of the European City of Science Katowice 2024. This contributed to the increased reach and prestige of the competition. The event attracted more than three times more participants than in previous years. The competition received as many as 515 entries from pupils from 121 secondary schools from all over Poland.
The competition, which consisted of taking a picture of the geological object and a brief description of this object, enjoyed interest both in large urban centres and smaller towns.
