“It’s a very general topic, so we knew we had room to show off. I had the opportunity to take part in this event. It is great, accompanied by a nice atmosphere. The real fun begins after several hours, when everyone shows the first signs of fatigue” - says Tomasz Korecki, a third-year computer science student at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology. – “We managed to get a great team together this year. We had some experience in similar projects before, so we wanted to test our skills”.

This year’s 15th edition attracted as many as 111 participants to the building X of the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology.

“They formed 30 teams, 15 for each category. Each of the teams had to consist of at least one student of the Silesian University of Technology” - explains Oliwia Gębala, coordinator for promotion at BIT Festival. In addition to many attractive prizes, discount vouchers, everyone had the opportunity to talk to our mentors. Representatives of industry companies also looked at the participants’ work.
