Vote for pupils of Academic Secondary Comprehensive Schools

Pupils of the Academic Secondary Comprehensive School in Rybnik and Gliwice take part in the EXPLORY competition.

The project of the pupils of the Academic Secondary Comprehensive School of the Silesian University of Technology in Rybnik made it to the semi-finals of the nationwide “Explory” competition.

From 8th to 11th April, the voting for projects qualified for the semi-finals of the Explore competition is held. We invite you to vote for the project No. 7 in the category “Man – good health and quality of life” "Analysis of traffic route generation for people with special needs based on 360° photos on the network". Regardless of the jury’s verdict, the project that receives the largest number of votes will go to the final of the competition.

The project was born from the idea of pupils and is a combination of an empathic approach to people at risk of exclusion in the field of mobility with a prospective use of artificial intelligence tools. So far, the project team has obtained research results confirming that the machine learning model can teach to evaluate panoramic photos and thus obtain data for routing and generating maps for people with special needs. Work on the mobile application and website for this group of users is already advanced.

In turn, the project of the pupils of ALO (Academic Secondary Comprehensive School) in Gliwice consisted in the development of an ecological battery.
