On the 16th of June at the Silesian University of Technology we hosted a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dresden, Germany. The meeting was attended by His Magnificence Rector of the Silesian University of Technology - Prof. Dr Hab Eng. Marek Pawełczyk and the Vice Rector for Collaboration with the Civic and Economic Environment, Dr Hab. Eng. Marcin Staniek, Prof. SUT.
The visit of the delegation from Saxony was organized by the Silesian University of Technology and the President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gliwice and the chairman of the Social Council of our University, Wiktor Pawlik. Its aim was to build relationships with German entrepreneurs representing the mechanical engineering, automation and 3D printing industries. On behalf of the Silesian University of Technology, the meeting was attended by representatives of units related to the areas of activity represented by the Saxon side. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was represented by the Vice-Dean for Infrastructure and Organization, Dr Hab. Eng. Małgorzata Szymiczek Prof. SUT, the presentation of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science was delivered by Dr. Hab. Eng. Tomasz Kłopot, Prof. PŚ, and the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Industry Digitization was represented by Dr Hab. Eng. Sławomir Golak Prof. SUT and Dr Eng. Tomasz Maciąg. In addition to the representatives of the faculties, the meeting was also attended by Dominika Raróg-Ośliźlok from the Project Management Centre, Grzegorz Studziński from the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer and Dr Eng. Grzegorz Kłapyta, Head of the International Relations Office.
