Training for teachers within the framework of EURECA-PRO
Responsible consumption and production in teaching chemistry – trainings for secondary school chemistry teachers have started at the Silesian University of Technology. The event is part of the EURECA-PRO Lifelong Learning Academy (ELLA).
The first meeting took place on the 3rd of April 2025 at the Faculty of Chemistry. Training for teachers in the field of the basics of stereochemistry was conducted by Dr Hab. Eng. Nikodem Kuźnik, Prof. SUT. The meeting combined elements of the lecture, workshops and provided an opportunity to exchange experiences in teaching chemistry among teachers.
The course also includes further classes in the context of responsible consumption and production, i.e. organic and inorganic nomenclature, electrochemistry, kinetics and mechanisms of chemical reactions and the specificity of coordination compounds.
