Ladies and Gentlemen– Members of the Community of Our Silesian University of Technology,

Thank you very much for the trust you have placed in me, entrusting me with the function of Rector in the term 2024-2028. I will have the honour to perform it in the company of excellent co-workers at various levels of the University’s organizational structure. I am counting on your cooperation and commitment to achieve our common goals. On my behalf, I declare consistent implementation of the electoral program and the commitments made during the meetings the Academic Community.

I would like to thank the University authorities in the previous term - Rector of the Silesian University of Technology,  Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk, Vice-Rectors, as well as Deans, Directors, Managers, Local Government authorities and Trade Unions, all employees, PhD students and students.

I wish you a lot of health and energy, many successes, personal satisfaction and  an atmosphere of respect and cooperation in fulfilling your everyday tasks.
