The success of High Flyers in Mexico!
Students from the High Flyers Interfaculty Science Club took second place in the prestigious International Micro Air Vehicle Competition (IMAV) 2025, which took place in Mexico (San Andrés Cholula, Puebla) on the 3rd - 7th November this year.
IMAV is an annual international competition where teams from all over the world design, build and test micro-unmanned aerial vehicles (MAVs). The theme of this year’s edition was Search & Rescue mission – search and rescue in difficult, catastrophic conditions.
During the competition, both the technical and engineering aspects of the developed designs were assessed, as well as the effectiveness of mission implementation during real air demonstrations.
- Winning second place is the result of months of work, testing and commitment of the entire team, which is passionately developing unmanned technologies of the future. We are proud that we could represent Poland and our university on the international arena, showing the high level of Polish engineering thought – explain students from High Flyers Student Science Club. - We would like to thank all team members as well as our scientific supervisors and partners for their invaluable support. It was thanks to you that this success became possible!
