The Silesian University of Technology will encourage secondary school graduates to study in a creative way
Thanks to the funding obtained from the Metropolis of Upper Silesia and Zagłębie under the "Metropolitan Fund for Science Support in the years 2022-2024", the Silesian University of Technology will carry out a series of interactive lectures presenting its didactic potential as a research university focusing on a comprehensive, modern and flexible education system adapted to market requirements.
The lectures and the accompanying workshops in the hybrid version will be addressed to secondary school pupils, who are a group of potential candidates for studies at the University. The classes will be an interesting, interdisciplinary scientific lesson, showing the achievements to date and the currently developed scientific research in Priority Research Areas, as well as modern teaching methods based on PBL.
The implementation of the project developed at The Promotion and Communication Centre headed by Iwona Flanczewska-Rogalska, MA, aims to attract candidates with high competences and encourage them to study at the Silesian University of Technology, as well as bind their professional and personal future with the Metropolis of Upper Silesia and Zagłębie.
The project "Proven, learned - a series of six interactive scientific lectures combined with online streaming" was co-financed under the "Metropolitan Fund for the Science Support in 2022-2024" Programme.
