The Silesian University of Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Alstom

Implementation of joint research and implementation works, cooperation in the organization of internships, study tours, lectures, seminars and conferences, publishing joint scientific publications and co-financing doctoral studies and internships - the Silesian University of Technology and Alstom Konstal signed an agreement. On behalf of the Silesian University of Technology, the agreement was signed by Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, Alstom was represented by Artur Fryczkowski, Member of the Management Board.

Alstom Konstal specialises in the production of underground cars and new-generation trams, and cooperates in production with other factories of the concern. The agreement, signed on 16th November this year, will concern among others: scientific-research and R&D activities, education and staff development, exchange of experiences and commercialization of the results of research and development works.

The agreement was concluded for an indefinite period. Supervision over the proper implementation of the agreement will be the responsibility of: on the part of the Silesian University of Technology – Professor Piotr Folęga and on the part of Alstom - Artur Fryczkowski.
