The Silesian University of Technology has signed an agreement with EMT-Systems
On 20 May 2022, the Silesian University of Technology signed an agreement with EMT-Systems Sp. z o. o. As part of the agreement, a postgraduate course in "Automation, robotisation and digitisation of production processes" will be launched in the academic year 2022/2023.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk, and the President of the Management Board of EMT-Systems, Grzegorz Wszołek, PhD. The aim of the studies is to provide comprehensive knowledge referring to the latest tendencies in industrial automation and robotics. Participants will acquire skills in the use and application of specialized software and will be prepared to supervise complex production systems that operate under the standards of Industry 4.0.
The studies will provide a space for the exchange of experience, knowledge and skills by participants coming from different professional backgrounds. The studies will be conducted in cooperation with industry experts, which will allow for broadening the knowledge of both academic staff and representatives of the specialised companies.
The studies are targeted at individuals who hold a full qualification, at least at level 6 of the Polish Qualification Framework, gained in the higher education and science system (first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, long-cycle studies). Classes will be held at the premises of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and the premises of EMT-Systems, also in Gliwice.
