The Silesian University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with FLUOR S.A.
Exchanging information and experience, setting up teams of specialists, agreeing on topics for engineering and research projects, workshops and training for students - these are just some of the areas in which the Silesian University of Technology and FLUOR S.A. will cooperate. On June 28, the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk, and Grzegorz Czul, President of the Management Board of FLUOR S.A signed the agreement. This is one more agreement between the University and the company.
The cooperation between the Silesian University of Technology and FLUOR S.A aims to utilise the experience and scientific achievements of the Silesian University of Technology and the potential and position of the FLUOR S.A. company. It will take place on many levels:
- developing, promoting and learning new methodologies in technical and management sciences and industrial technologies,
- exchang of information and experience on new developments in the fields of design, delivery completion, construction management, maintenance and project management,
- setting up specialist teams to carry out analyses and develop strategic technical and organisational solutions,
- exchange of experience in the field of knowledge management, with particular emphasis on the issue of competence development,
- agreeing on topics for engineering projects, masters theses and research projects,
- mutual presentation of achievements,
- cooperation in the development of diploma programmes,
- cooperation on the employment of graduates of the Silesian University of Technology and the implementation of competence development workshops to facilitate their entry into the labour market.
